The final things I learned in Mr. Jones’ Multimedia II class:
Instead of having to individually update each website, there’s a much faster way. PixelPipe.com. It is like a miracle, and it is really easy. All you have to do is create a post on this site and send it to the “pipes” you tell it to go to! Every blog is updated in an instant saving lots and lots of time.
You can use all of these tools to show the world who you are and you will be rewarded for it. You have to work to get yourself out there, but the internet enhances your chances of becoming known. You never know who will come across your work one day!
Adorable! I love it!

More of what I learned this quarter in Mr. Jones’ Multimedia II class:
To successfully create an online presence, others must be aware of it. For this class we had to create a Blogger, Twitter, WordPress, YouTube, Flickr, Facebook Fan Page, and Tumblr. By using all of these sites and connecting to our classmates and other photographers/artists we have built a “web” that pushes our names to the top of a Google search. How cool is that?!
Each site offers something unique to help showcase our work and get our name out there.
The blogs- Blogger, WordPress, and Tumblr- allow us to post about our experiences, assignments, and just interesting stuff we enjoy. They also allow a spot for followers and fans to provide feedback and they connect to the other various sites we use for our work.
YouTube allows us to show off the videos we have made.
Flickr allows us to show a large selection of photos we have done all in one site in an easy and simple way.
Twitter allows us to tell what we are currently doing as well as what site has been updated recently, providing a quick link for everyone to view.
Facebook Fan Page- This is a great tool which combines the features of Twitter, Flickr, and a blog. What’s also cool about it is it’s direct connection to your friends, family, and fans. You connect it to your blog and everything all in one page. It’s like a website, but better because it’s free!
